MRL SD45 342
This is one well traveled SD45. It started life as N&W 1768, moved on to NS 1768 (one of a handful of SD45s repainted for NS), was sold to the "new" Wheeling & Lake Erie as WE 1768, then sold to the Ohio Central as OHCR 1768. Eventually, she ended up going back to EMD, where she had her nose chopped and was repainted into this EMD Lease scheme, but retainted her number to be EMDX 1768. Sometime, I think 2000, she came to the MRL and was, obviously, renumbered 342. Here she sits, keeping company with a bunch of other stored engines.
