Never used Tunnel
This Tunnel was intended to be part of a grade separation project that was to put the C&WC below Main St in Spartanburg. Apparently this section was built underneath the road, but it never comes out on the other side. It was never used, I'm not sure what happened to the project or when this thing was built

Eugene Cain	General	Not sure about this, but was told this tunnel was built and would have been in perfect alignment with the tunnel under the Southern, but since the Tunnel was delayed for so long, this Tunnel was eventually abandoned. The north side was filled in and buildings now occupy where it once exited. Not sure when this tunnel was built....maybe someone will know and comment here.	7/18/2013 11:38:16 AM
