Steve E General NICE SHOT ! 9/29/2007 7:13:50 PM
Virgil Fitzpatrick General The SP renumber is an AC44 and the UP loco is a CW45 I think. I don't know the UP roster that well, but I know it's clearly not a C40 12/28/2007 7:47:50 AM
James Moody General Great catch! Now thats a good stance for a "Pass-by Observation". 1/6/2008 11:36:09 AM
Max Koehn General UP 6226 is an AC4400CW. SD60Ms are EMDs, and that locomotive is a GE. also, 5669 is not a C40-8. C40-8s have spartan cabs and only one C40-8W ever got nose wings. 5669 is also an AC4400CW 1/25/2008 2:51:58 PM
Michael Richmond General Notice that both these coal trains have gray power as their second units! :D Excellent work Bill! 2/18/2008 7:53:09 AM
Leo Courtemanche General That's a C40-8W, not a C40-8, Bill 3/25/2009 7:16:56 PM
Howard Biby General what a life 7/28/2009 7:29:47 AM
Kent Held General All four locos in this pic are C44ACs because UP doesn't run D.C. traction locos on their coal trains anymore. UP 5669 is a C44ACCTE. So this info should end the debate about what type of locos are on this train. 2/17/2010 4:42:37 PM

Geneva Short General For all I know the diesels could be (insert any model number here)....It's a Beautiful photograph, made even better by the crew member from X5669 on the ground to watch X6226 pass....he even has a matching UP Yellow shirt on. Fine Work, Mr. Fliris. 12/8/2011 10:06:11 PM

Bob Beaumont General Nice shot! 12/9/2018 10:34:04 PM
Tom Beckett General It is a cool shot of a meet in progress. Don't worry about the rivet counters. The UP roster is full of alphabet soup. I could never keep track of a lot of those units, and UP always seems to have a slew of special models, slight variations of the off the shelf power that they give its own classification to. Almost like you can't tell them without a score card. Home page 08-22-2020 8/22/2020 5:10:35 AM
Scott Crotwell General Fantastic meet and greet shot! 7/31/2021 4:22:37 PM
Mason Soliday General As seen on the homepage 5/20/2023 7:41:21 AM
