The reporting marks should be VRE. Must be in Roanoke for maintenance since this one's natural habitat is Northern Virginia.

Former CSX 6617 (GP40), nee B&O 4042, rebuilt into VRE V06 RP39-2C by MK. You see pics of VRE engines being maintained by NS at Juaniata Shops in Altoona. It could be that this is taking the most conveinent route to or from Manassas.
