Still Earning Her Keep
D&RGW SD40T-2 5371 leads the Dirt Train upgrade from Mounds, Utah, towards the ECDC Environmental dump site at Sunnyside, Utah. This was it--the last time I saw this engine earning her keep, the last time I was able to witness an engine of my favorite road, unbastardized, running live. She was retired in March 2008.
