Not sure what this train was doing. Unusual to see a SD40 heading up the main toward Mitchell. They did stop around Pontoon Rd. I did wait at Mitchell for a bit, with their lights in view, but never came my way.
NS train G61 follows right behind train 330 on the GS&F district.

NS 3285 puffs out some smoke on a cold start in Kannapolis Yard
P41 has an exceptionally long cut of cars to switch out in the Harrisburg area this day. Departing on #2 main.
It's Halloween night and the SD40-2's are on the prowl at the Kannapolis depot. Once P41's crew couples the 3285 to the 6115, they will then back up to perform some switching moves.
T17 with light engines will soon depart Greeneville, mp 56.7-A.
Local T17, the Greeneville switcher, sits on the main while the crew is inside the station completing paperwork.
