I just missed by moments the train leaving Port Robinson yard, and chased it to Buchner Road where I hobnobbed with a friendly CN work crew who were finishing up some signal sensor tests - just before the train arrived. Just one worthwhile shot, but it certainly made my day.
Train 562 pushes back into the yard.

I watched with another railfan as a fresh crew mounted the lead engine, the lights sparked up, and the train was soon underway.
Upon first arriving at the yard, it was like a wonderful railfans' only fantasy come true. Locomotives everywhere!

Very rare to see no foreign units at Selkirk, but this day, the CN engine was it.
The power just unhooked from the manifest train, used the loop track under the hump, and is coming up from the hump tunnel to head for the fueling pad.
