Three Union Pacific locomotives power CSX Q606-20 as it crosses South Pine St (in the background) and then Stanmeyer St which is where I was standing. This location is at OOO 642.50 on the CSX M&M Subdivision.

UP 8683 was in the Union Pacific's yards at Jefferson City, MO on 10/14/2017. Today 8683 was DPU for a westbound empty coal train.

A brand new SD70ACe leads and eastbound manifest into Davidson Yard. These locomotives look like parts were added as it went down the assembly line as an afterthought. The only smooth line on this beast is the frame.

I'm not a fan of the SD70ACe but when these monstrosities are new and clean they're not so bad looking.
