NS 7046

Southbound Norfolk Southern intermodal train No. 221 passes through Meridian, MS on its way to New Orleans. SD40-2 1545 leads B32-8 3533, GP60 7137, GP38 2717, and GP50 7046. NS 7046 is one of the units modeled by Athearn Genesis! The five-unit locomotive consist on this train was a bit unusual.

This daily local keeps the rust off of the rails of a once somewhat busy line.
