Outside of Williamsfield there is a small set-off siding that as of last year was still be guarded by an ATSF dwarf signal. However, it appears that the purge finally got to it, as when we went by, we noticed that it had been replaced with a short vader. Not really sure what to call this signal. Its taller than a dwarf but definitely much smaller than a regular signal. I decided since we were here anyway that I would shoot our next eastbound with it. Q-SBDCHI6-16 slowly works its long train into Williamsfield by the signal. The disappointment that that ATSF dwarf was gone was immeasurable, but nothing can last forever.
Westbound mixed manifest on the Clovis Sub.
