After a brief pause to wait for a local to clear, 38T began heading south, seen passing through Bowmanstown.

A nice heads up gave us a chance to get to Lehighton for this awesome 38T.

This train and its westbound counterpart 487 can be relied upon for pure spartan cab EMD power (including ICE and DM&E units on some days) when everything else is led by GE widecabs.
