On the Wrentham Branch, the 2002, a MLW with every paint scheme the Providence and Worcester used on the MLWs! Delivered in March of 1974 in the handsome parallelogram scheme. Its 2nd scheme of brown and red with a straight nose was applied in December of 1983. Converted to the large PW 3 stripe scheme in September of 1984, and was re-painted in this scheme around June of 1986. Finally the final scheme of brown and red V nose in August of 1989. The 2002 would have this scheme until retired. In 1994 the MLWs were retired where it became Maine Coast 2002. Today, 2007, the Maine Coast 2002, is now on the Great Western RR in Saskatchewan.
