Fourteen Canadian National (ex-BNSF) C44-9W’s and two UP AC4400CW’s were parked on the west test track just north of Wabtec’s Fort Worth plant. All of these units were waiting to be remanufactured, the CN’s into AC44C6M’s and the UP’s into AC4400CWM’s. The units were CN 4498, 4575, 4568, 4506, 4581, 4584, 4560, 4570, 4513, 4470, 4494, 4562, 4517, 4571, UP 5780 and 5771.

I was able to indulge in a "spring fever" week of railfanning thanks to warmer than normal March temperatures. My last catch of the week was the eastbound CSX/BNSF grain train, seen here heading for the Luce Line overpass and points east.
BNSF 4498 in the top-off and true service area in Vancouver under a flash rain storm - somewhat unusual for our area (we usually get SMALL drops of water and mist, not huge deluge drops).
