SD40 - 2 #1692 is former #6821, I have photos of it as #6821, I also have photos of #8012 in St. Cloud, but I have no photos of #1943, #2891, or even the GEVOs prior to this day
A rare consist for the 21st Century, a pair of current GEVOs leads a rare GP39M and a trio of surprising SD40 - 2s, I know the GEVOs could pull this train by themselves, so these EMDs were enroute to somewhere
An amazing consist in 2011, a pair of GEVOs leads a GP39M and a trio SD40 - 2s as they head south with a freight train
The best consist on the Hinckley Sub. yet, a rare appearence by a GP39Ms and the sound of a trio of SD40 - 2s makes my day, I never got to see them leave Hinckley, but I'm sure it would have sounded neat, the sound of the 645s by the SD40 - 2s would have made my day better
The pair of GEVOs are smoking a bit, they are sitting at South Hinckley, which is the south end of the Hinckley siding, they are joined by a GP39M and a trio of SD40 - 2s
This southbound has the best consist on the Hinckley Sub. yet, a pair of GEVOs, a GP39M, and 3 SD40 - 2s, it doesn't get any better then this ever
This is the lead unit of the cool 6 unit pack, this one leads another GEVO, a rare GP39M, and 3 SD40 - 2s
A pair of GEVOs, a GP39M, and three SD40 - 2s is the consist for BNSF 5768 South, this is the 2nd unit in the consist, ES44AC #6299
One of the two GEVOs in the consist was #6299, I wish the SD40 - 2s were ahead of them, but they still made a great consist
A BNSF Southbound on the Hinckley Sub has a neat consist, a pair of GEVOs leads a GP39M and 3 SD40 - 2s, it doesn't get more classic then that
U-KEEMAD
An eastbound iron ore train gains speed as it leaves Bandana Square behind. Meanwhile, the folks at the Como Park soccer fields pay the dramatic sight no heed as kids teams chase the white and black balls around the fields.
An eastbound taconite train bound for the steel mills slowly gets up to speed as it passes Bandana Square. Crew sure has the ponies for hauling all that ore.
