An empty AEPX coal train rolls north for KC behind a pair of UP units and a couple of-Belles. Believe it or not, there is a DPU on this train, one UP GE tagging along on the rear.

An empty AEPX coal trakn returning to the UP at Kansas City has all the power up front, and one lone UP AC4400 tagging along on the rear. Its about to pass the Cobb feed mill as it rolls toward Genury as a couple of thunder clouds build to the east.

A northbound NLKC with a big power set rolls 78 cars past the Siloam water tower. There are quite a few Belles in this consist, unusual at the time, as there were not yet many, and they were scattered.

NS Northbound Vehicle Train 22R stoped at 20th Street in Irondale, AL. doing a crew change. This day 22R had engine trouble & had to get two extra KCS units from Norris Yard before they could head on east to Atlanta, GA.

NS Northbound Vehicle Train 22R ( New Orleans, La. to Atlanta, Ga. ) pulling up to 20th Street in Irondale, Al. for a crew change before proceeding on east to Atlanta, Ga. 22R had some power issues this day & KCS 4783 & KCS 4003 were added to the point of 22R's consist, I wasn't complaining at all, went from good to better in my opinion, but usually when power is swapped out it's for the worse most of the time, NS could easily had ruined the consist with their typical Trash 9W's or ES40's that I'm so sick of shooting, sure helps when theyre in attractive paint schemes such as these beautiful KCS Southern Belles
