A CN ES44DC heads through Flagstaff in the rain. ATSF 646 was at the helm of the train.
Thanks to a conveniently place hotel, I am able to get shots of BNSF trains hustling over the transcon. The best part is they are miles away and can be seen from up to 14 miles away! This makes it seem as if youre running Z scale trains on a gigantic layout.
We pass up a BNSF baretable train on Route 66 in Gallup, NM. The train was sitting there with a red signal.

Took this one from my hotel room. As a part of a 2 week vacation, we stayed the first two nights in Wintrhaven, CA. On the evening of the first oay, I caught a westbound train with a UP locomotive wearing the "We Will Deliver" livery.

With a Santa Fe warbonnet behind it, this CSX locomotive trail 2nd out of 4 on an eastbound manifest. This train was stopped at CP McPhetridge and met/a westbound stacktrain moments after%this was taken.

An eastbound train rolls through Flagstaff on a Summer Afternoon. Lucky for me, the train had a Citirail (CREX) locomotive 3rd out. It was the first time I was able to see any CREX ES44AC in Flagstaff.
