2015: EMD 4-axles and a few B40-8’s handled Fairburn, GA locals.

A pair of ex-UP and Ontario Northland SD40-2's rested at Fairburn since March, 2015. Local Fairburn traffic from the Spring to the end of 2015 was handled by 30-40 year old former CR GP38-2’s, SCL GP38-2S's, B&O and C&O GP40-2’s, a CP GP40, and NS GP38-2's. CSX also sent a few slightly younger 26-27 year old ex-CR or NYSW B40-8's (5940, 5957, 5975, 5979) to join the EMD's. Near the end of 2015, CSX briefly sent an ex-SBD SD50-2 to join the 4-axle units.
