This is a big month for me in my rail-fanning adventures. I managed to get a few distance trips in for the month, pictures from the BNSF Hannibal Sub., Decatur, Illinois (NS/CN action), and the BNSF Marceline Sub. BNSF 6237 has just been boarded by the new crew to take it and the empty oil can back north for a refill as NS 8892 waits for a crew to take NS 32Q (East St. Louis, IL (A&S) - Decatur, IL) towards Decatur, Illinois.
NS 8368 leads NS 398 into Decatur, Illinois on a bright sunny afternoon while NS 7012 sits in the background on the FRA Inspection Train.

NS 2696, NS 7211, & NS 8040 shuffle around on the tracks in the NS Decatur Engine Facility. Sorry for the odd angle, had to take the picture over a chain link fence.

UP 7622 leads NS 302 into Decatur, Illinois where the train terminates. Its always a hard photographing the east bounds this time of day in Decatur.

NS 9571 leads NS train 145 out of Decatur, Illinois and heads for Kansas City. This is always a note worthy train, usually has some pretty interesting cars in the consist.

UP 8718 and UP 4301 head west out of Decatur, Illinois as light power. This came across the scanner as 33J, not sure if they went to rescue a previous 33J or if it was just the power as the train.
