60ft boxcar
For many years, this site retained the simple station sign marking San Juan. About 15 years ago, the sign and the post disappeared. Tall grasses covered this spot until a recent mowing. The concrete base likely supported a large train order signal.
The building originally supported fruit and vegetable packing. At some point, a moulding company that specialized in custom doors modified the original building for wood workings. Today, there is little activity and no need for rail service.
