New CSX GEVO #5328 (First 5300 series seen by me) leads a very early running Q334-10 eastbound at Harrison road, in the evening twilight.

CSX 768 leads a westbound Coke Express train (K357-09) through Trowbridge siding, near the Farm Lane crossing.
CSX Engine #1 backs Q327 to it's train.
CSX #1, Tje Spirit of West Virginia, on the Q327-12 backs down onto her train after picking up five cars from Ensel yard.

CSX Q326, with engines 8450 & 8832 pass D709, waiting in the hole with engines 2631 and 2699 at Harrison road. All Three CSX Predecessors are represented here. 8450 is an Ex-Chessie Unit, 8832 is Ex-Conrail, and 2631 & 2699 are both Ex-Seaboard engines.
CSX D709 leaves the siding to head into Lansing.
CSX 8450 leads Q326-13 up the hill at Harrison road. In just a few seconds, this train will meet CSX D709, which was sitting directly behind me.
A CN SD40-2W leads a Quartet of engines on a westbound freight train through a curve just a few miles east of Haslett, Michigan.
The 1902 Michigan Central station in Mason, now a restaurant.
The former Michigan Central station in Leslie, on the NS Lansing secondary line. As with many old stations in Michigan, this one has also been converted to a restaurant.
Out in the country, several miles south of Mason, Michigan on the NS Lansing secondary line is a location known as Wicks. There's really nothing special about this location, but it is a legitimate location on the railroad, and is often referred to in Form Ds issued to operate on this line. This old Conrail post is the only object identifying the location.
Amtrak Genesis #31 rides the tail of Train 364 through Lansing, passing the old GTW Station.
Amtrak 35, with train 364 in tow behind her, stops at East Lansing to detrain passengers, and pick up a few more for Points east.
Amtrak #35 leads train 364 past Washington street in Lansing. The smoke stacks of the BWL Powerplant loom overhead in the background.
CN 2551 leads Train 394 towards the Amtrak station. This train generally runs in the early morning, but for some reason today it ran late today...
Brand new CSX GEVO #5395 leads a very rare K351-17 up the grade and crosses Harrison road. I was very impressed to see this locomotive pulling this train all by itself. It's empty, but look at how long it is!
CN 394 - Ironically, out of five locomotives on this train, this was the only one that wasn't running, so I guess she's just along for the ride.
Conrail (NS) GP40-2 #3062 leads NS B30 through Holt, Michigan.
Conrail GP40-2 #3062 leads the NS B30 local through Holt, enroute to Jackson.
NS B30 heads across College road, south of Holt, with 20 cars for Jackson

The former Michigan Central depot in Charlotte, now the Michigan Central Coffee company restaraunt.
A struggling CSX Dash-9 lugs a very long 73 car Q335 towards Harrison road. This was perhaps the longest Q335 I have ever seen, and I certainly hope that this train retains this length!
Amtrak 364 approaches the east lansing station, running late as usual.
Conrail SD40-2 #8876 leads CSX Q327-24 towards Harrison road.
K357-24 blasts across Harrison road, under dreary evening skies.
To someone without a scanner, this train would `ppear to be a light engine movement, but it's auctually CSX Q326-24 running with no cars at all and just three engines...very pathetic in my opinion.
The rear end of Q326-24 crosses harrison road...pathetic.....

New CP GEVO #8720 leads X500 through the trees at Mile post 80 on the Plymouth sub (Dobie road). In a few moments, he will roll over the non-functional Okemos Detector, which may soon be replaced with a new one.
With it's haunting Five chime horn blaring, 2699 roars around the bend at Okemos with D709 in tow.
IC 6126 leads a CN Train west over Harrison road, with a very obnoxious sounding P3 Horn atop the cab.
My first CP Rail GEVO leads X500 across Dobie road, about to hit the defective defect detector in the distance.
