I caught the departure of Amtrak's southbound Ethan Allen Express out of its new northern terminus, Burlington, VT. Viewpoint from along a waterfront rail trail.
Two Empire corridor locomotives bracket the train because they need to be third rail compatible after Croton Harmon. The train is bracketed because the station stop in Rutland, VT is configured so that the train reverses orientation pulling out of Rutland Amtrak Station enroute to Albany Rensselaer and points south.
