NS 6108 sits shut down on a side track.
These two JMU rocket scientists decide there tired of waiting and venture off into the yard to cross behind the train, about 4-5 car lengths ahead.
The train taking up the slack grabbed their attention and they both did an about face! Unaware to them, had they made it to the end they would have encounterd parked freight cars on the other side and one very displeased conductor; If they were lucky!
This is the last of the real warm days as a cold air mass will be moving into the valley tonight. Easter weekend, we could see temps as low as 17 F. at night.
Just a cold yucky, windy day in contrast to the sunshine and mid 80's just a few days ago. Snow showers are in the forcast tonight as we head into Easter weekend........Oh well, thats Spring!
The engineer heads back into the trailing unit (NS 9630) as he ties everything down at the end of his day.

I've seen worse in April and so I'm not so suprised. These horses have nothing to do today but idle; Their workday will start around 0100 hrs. Easter Sunday.
