Two SD40-2s used fro switchinga dn a set of KCS power. The KCS locos returned light to Knoche in the early afternoon.

four trains. Coal train on the UP High line, two coal trains and an Auto train on the BNSF.
THe BNSF flyover is the upper track, the UP high line, and on ground level UP-BNSF connection, then the BNSF Murray-Argentine main, and in the far back the UP main.

Unfortunately I couldn't get a good view of the BNSF line that runs to the south.
I had to drive around the steel works to get a view of the BNSF line that heads south.
acording to one of the locals. This building was once KCS and the company that refurbished it for offices was a owned by the holding company that also owns KCS. So they kept the RR theme, and the track and turntable.
Looking north from a bridge over the tracks. The Transcon in the back, UP high line splits just behind the tree. On the ground from left to right. BNSF tracks from Argentine, UP from Armourdale, BNSF from Murray then UP connector to the EB high line.

Heading back to my perch, I caught this stack train on the transcon.
WB coal train. This is one of two x-SOO SD60s I saw in the KC area.
Most of these hoppers I have seen carry CTRN reporting marks now.
