A couple horsmen take advantage of the Indian Summer.
The bridge in the back ground (Rt 602), spans over the Shenandoah River. 602 is a nice quick shortcut from U.S.33 East to Shenandoah, taking the railfan staright to the yard.
Every picture has it's story as does this one. I could hear V92's horns blowing as she was passing through JMU, just minutes away. This girl kept walking with out even looking over her shoulder or to either side.
NS 7552 sits alone in the C&W yard with Harrisonburg's downtown in the back ground.
She was dialing or texting on her cell phone not paying any attention.
I only wished I had gotten hear a few minutes earlier! V92 was stopped with a string of tank cars stretched accross the street. I guess a few guys (idiots), tired of waiting climbed up over the coupler of one of the cars, crossing over to the other side. Just after the last idiot made it accross, the train started to move with its normal jerking bang as the slack was taken up.
This dude is not even going to wait for the gate to raise!
This fellow came walking from the direction of a bridge where the train was still moving walking with an unsteady gait!
