Christmas day finds 3 coal trains parked in Staples. one is hiding and the leader of another is peaking out. Grab shot from the car @ 60 m.p.h.
sure is smoking alot for being a "clean" locomotive.
A "supercab" has been leading the local for awhile now. the're about to drop off there cars and nose up to there pickup and head back to Superior.
The neighborhood Shortline is using both locos today on there 50 car pick-up heading back towards Rush City. A few months later the peir on the right cracked exposing a larger crack in the original sandstone brick, resulting in the bridge being closed from May until Mid November 2009.
