The crew is wying the power so CN 5604 will lead the transfer out of town today after the IC was have problems with its brakes.

IC 6104 brings the transfer into New Brighton with CN 5604 trailing. The entire train can be seen in this picture.

This is my first time seeing GTW 5935. I wish it was still in the blue paint though... After the transfer picked up the commercial cars, the crew wyed the power and the GT lead out of New Brighton.

The transfer pumps up the air on the commercial cars before pulling out of the yard.

Charlie brings the transfer up from Northtown and will start to pick up cars from the commercial. It sure was nice to have two old EMDs down here.

A thoroughbred makes a visit to New Brighton on Thanksgiving day. We haven't had NS power on the transfer in a while.

Finnally after months, another WC unit makes an apperance at New Brighton. The last time we had a WC down here was back in March.

IC is the lead unit, but not for long. Soon the crew would wye the power and the WC 6006 will be leading out of town.

After almost a year since the 6005 lead out of here, we get a WC leading out of New Brighton again. This was so nice to see again.

WC 6006 is in charge of todays transfer. It was so npce to see another WC in just a few days. The 6006 was still looking great too.

The WC transfer has pulled up to Lexington Ave. today because the CP needed to do some track work.

The WC transfer waits to get into Humboldt Yard at 6:30 AM. IC 6200 trails.

IC 6200 pumps up the air on the commercials cars before heading out onto the main. IC 6200 looked great, and I love that nose light too.

Steve brings the transfer up to the light at New Brighton after wying the power. The snow was coming down pretty good just before I took this picture.

IC 6118 comes onto the west wye so CN 5695 will lead out of town.

Charlie waits to pull out of the yard while his train pumps up the air. Due to Stevens Point being congested, the transfer had to switch out cars for them.

CN 5284 comes up to the swtich at New Brighton so it can start to pick up the commercial cars. Its nice to see two of these units so late in 2008.

CN 2604 shoves down the west wye to pick up the HUGE cut of five Northtown Cars.

IC 6119 and CN 2604 have just put the CP cars away and will start to get ready to head off to Northtown

Train A405 is now thi WC transfer. The crew has just got on the lead unit and is about to start setting out the commercial cars.

A405 is arriving very late today. It is very rare to see all the locomotives running elephant style into New Brighton.

IC 6202 makes another visit to New Brighton, but this time its not leading. Thanks to the drizzle outside, it made the blzck stand out a little more.

Train A405 is now thi WC transfer. The crew has just got on the lead unit and is about to start setting out the commercial cars.

IC 6122 crosses over Old Highway 8 on its way to Humboldt. This would be my last time seeing a train cross this bridge as for it is going to be replaced tomorrow. It is probably about 60 or so years old.

CN 8841 sits on the west wye while IC 6122 holds down the air on the cars. It was nice to be up at New Brighton at night and see some action going on.

This is the Northtown part of the transfer. The crew is waiting to get a track at Northtown Yard.

A405 has just arrived at New Brighton around 1:30 PM, thats about 10 hours later then usual. As a result, the transfer was made into two trains with the IC going to Humboldt and the CN going to Northtown.

The WC transfer has just left Humboldt Yard and is now getting ready to head to Northtown Yard. If you look carefully, you'll see the engineer on the last unit, IC 6122, and the conductor walking back to hook up the air hoses. The lead unit even had a class light on!

CN 9449 takes the transfer down to Northtown lite powered with a really nice lashup for so late in 2008.

Well, I guess this is my Christmas present from the RR! Another WC makes its way to New Brighton. We've had three WC units down here in the last month, thats almost more then we've has all year!

CN 4715 and CN 6027 have no problem bringing the WC transfer up grade today. The sound of the 4715 was really nice, made me rethink taking this picture, and thinking that I should have taken video instead...

This freshly repainted GP38-2 is in charge of the transfer today. It looked and sounded great.

The WC pulls a mere two cars out of Humboldt Yard. At least the lead unit was a good one, and the trailing one was a good one too.

The first WC transfer of 2009 comes out of Northtown and starts to head back up to New Brighton. The WC had ZERO cars today, so A406 went back to Point light powered.
