Taken from the tree line at CP7 Q156 suprised me heading southbound.
Q434 flies northbound through CP5 and towards New York State.

North of Bear Mountain Bridge Q438 heads northbound towards CP43.
With an SD70ACe leading R434 heads northbound for a meet with Q417 at CP43.
Q417 is stretched out along the Hudson as they head south after a meet with the Q434.
Q418 hustles northbound through Ridgefield Park late in the afternoon.
Q161 comes up to the station and will soon stop and back in to the NYSW for a pick up.
Q417 has just reached Iona Island in this view from the top of Bear Mountain.
Q439 is working its way up the sag on Iona Island and will soon be knocking the signal at MP 41 from Clear to Stop.
Almost looking exactly like Q439 a few minutes earlier Q409 heads southbound for a drop in thirty-five miles at North Bergen
As a barge heads northbound so does a Metro North local while two smaller boats race south.
K684 the bomb train enters Iona Island from the north on its way southbound.
Q434, with one hundred twenty-one cars, is stretched out over Iona Island and both causeways and then some as they head north. This view is from the top of Bear Mountain and we are looking south down the Hudson River.
Q417 rolls southbound over the south causeway at Iona Island and will soon be hitting a 10 MPH speed restriction at MP 38.2
Heading slowly southbound after Q417 the Q409 works their way towards the speed restriction.
Bringing up the tail end of southbound rush Q433 pulls hard leaving Iona.
With some wind mill materials on the head end Q418 heads northbound north of Iona and has a clear shot through CP 43.
With a wave from the crew on Q434 they head north past automatic 41 and no southbound traffic in their way.
About three hours after Q434 went north Q433 comes south over Iona.
Ripping south at automatic 38 CSX 7830 leads X160 south with 444 axels.
Q439 is seen here heading southbound late in the day at Iona.
After Q439 Q417 then ran south to CP33 to meet Q157 heading north.
With the sun behind the mountain now Q157 leads a parade of northbounds.
Around dusk K637 runs northbound on the heels of Q157.
On our way home we were caught by off gaurd as W086 was close behind the ethanol. After some quick trail running we grabbed it at dusk heading north with an awesome consist.
Q702 with a long train of empty trash containers makes good time heading north over Iona Island.
With a pair of C40-8W's Q434 follows Q702 up the Hudson and is just about to enter Iona Island.
At the dragger at MP 38 we witness K678 with a well worn leader working back up to speed after holding back for Q418 to enter the siding at Haverstraw.
I normally don't upload pictures of the same train from the same spot, but the idiots on the bridge made me want to highlight what engineers have to deal with on a daily in these parts.
With a nice lashup Q418 looks good in the afternoon light and is just about to dive into the shadows of Bear Mountain.
I'm not 100% sure on the number but it looks like 229. Late in the afternoon a Metro North train hustles up the Hudson.
Some SeaLand Double Stack cars were riding with Q164 today.
