Only one thing could get us out of bed at 5AM after just returning to the motel room in Cheyenne from North Platte at 2AM...UP 1989, the Rio Grande Heritage unit. We headed down to LaSalle and Greeley Colorado to catch the Operation Lifesaver runs to Carr COw From here we headed to Sherman Hill where we spent most of the day. We were even lucky ejough to have a local rancher lead us to Hermosa Tunnel!! From here we headed back through Cheyenne and then North to Guernsey Wyoming where we qvernighted at the Sagebrush Inn.
