Spotted this car on a Geneva bound freight today.

Caught this old boxcar in an eastbound consist today near CP 304.

Sittin' on the industrial siding near CP 306 in Jordan, NY. Usually the only rolling stock you see on this siding are covered hoppers. It's even more unusual to see anything sittin' on the east end of this siding like this boxcar is.

Moving westbound along with CSX consist Q263.

This boxcar was part of the Q626 today.

Soon to be returned to the Finger Lakes RR by CSX train Y111.

It looks like this CSX boxcar has been here for a few years. And I'll be surprised if it ever moves again!

This boxcar is at the end of the Q382-22 today.

I saw this car in CSX train Q380 this morning. Typical CSX power on the train so nothing special there, but this car caught my eye. And wow; this consist was nearly 2 miles long!

Going west with CSX train Q381. Been sorting through old stuff looking for shots of Finger Lakes boxcars. Found a few good ones, a few bad ones, but what really kills me is what I could have had in rolling stock roster shots if I had the wherewithal!

Delaware Lackawanna???? With LBR reporting??? Definitely caught my attention. This car is in CSX yard/local train Y111, and will be handed-off to the New York, Susquehanna & Western at Solvay, NY.

I did a search on this boxcar before posting it. I thought others might be interested in knowing that it was in the finger lakes region of upstate New York. I only wish that I could explain why it's here!
