EB Z-train cruises through downtown The Dalles, OR. This shot taken from the edge of a public street, next to the gaurdrail. You can nearly touch!the train as it goes by!

NB H-BAKPAS crosses over the UP mainline, the Columbia River, and enters Washington State for a the remainder of it's run east to Pasco.

NB baretable drops down the grade off of the Oregon Trunk, is about to pass under I-84, over the UP Portland Sub., and then the Columbia River.
