Waiting for NS 8100, the Nickel Plate HU. it was cold and the wind was blowing at better than 20 mph sustained. After a couple hours of standing outside, I was ready for it to be over. However, patience pays off in the long run.
Never saw the westbound's power, except for the tops of the units.
You can still see a trace of Amtrak under the Triple Crown lettering.
With all the traffic around, someone surely would have seen it. There's nobody to holler at back at this end.
The lettering on the cab calls this a 40, although it has been entered as a 44.
