Caught these two Pioneer Rail Equipment loaners rolling along US 51 just north of Assumption, IL. Nice looking pair so I decided to turn around and dog them for awhile.
Lead unit was built by EMD in September of 1950 as ACL GP7 #131 and later rebuilt as a GP16 unit.
The pair of PREX locos head farther north through some wooded ROW - that's where I ended my chase.
