Looks can be deceiving...even in 2018! Here BNSF 4860 leads the St. Louis to Galesburg freight (H STLGAL1 10A) with a "retro" lash up north on the BNSF Hannibal Sub. as it enters Louisiana, Mo. Power was: BNSF 4860, Ex-BNSF now PRLX 9561, & BNSF 2780 (GP39-3).

Saw previous photos of this locomotive being stuck in storage. Apparently it's alive and running now. Here it is passing Railroad Ridge, a campfire site at LOMC (Lutheran Outdoor Ministries Center) and one of my personal favorite spots for photos. This locomotive sure has seen better days, but I'm glad to see it leading.
Sitting near Railroad Ridge, a campfire pit at Lutheran Outdoor Ministries Center (LOMC), I saw this. A beautiful consist leading a rare empty freight train through the area, back westward.
