Heading eastbound, a train for Chicago passes over the 1911 built high bridge on a dreary day.

A power set has just come off an inbound train and is being moved to the engine tracks. The lead unit a C30-7, was soon to be retired.

A pair of mismatched SOO SD40 - 2s runs past us with a grain train. One repainted into the Candy Apple Red Scheme and the other in it's orginal paint

As the wintertime sun sinks lower in the west and light becomes more intense, train 561 rolls up Medary siding and into LaCrosse yard behind SOO 761 and SOO 789. Both units have since been scrapped.
