With daylihgt fading it's time to call it quits on a long day of railfanning as SP 9333 roars west bound for LA.

SP 9333 puts on a show with a colorful pool power consist on this late January afternoon.

With Mt. Slover in the background SP 9333 with three pool power units heads west in the fading light.

With the former SP Colton depot seen on the left, SP 9333 West is stopped waiting on a signal. Behind SP 9333 are units from Rio Grande, MKT and Chessie System (B&O).

SP 9333 West has come to a stop short of the Santa Fe crossing in Colton. Behind it are FOUR different versions of the EMD "40" series locomotives wearing FOUR different paint schemes.
