UP 5696 rounding out the power-trio hauling north on a mixed freight under almost painfully blue skies (rather rare around here, even when its not raining and clear because to get blue, clear skies we have to avoid our infamous "temperature inversion" which holds all the smoke (from the wildfires and range fires to the east, southeast, and south) plus Portland smog next to the ground giving a more white appearance to our skies.
