Midtrain DPUs on a double coal train.

Up 6947 rolls an eastbound freight through downtown Washington Mo.

Built November 2000 as UP 7558.

With the sand loads out of the way, oil empties start west at 1148.

We were turning left.

I was riding in the truck (My Uncle was driving) and had to get this shot while I could. The different speeds can be blamed for the blur (and roads, too).

A transfer run from FWWR to UP Davidson Yard charges uphill in North Fort Worth. New diesels are nice and better for the environment but no smoke makes for less exciting photos.

A UP transfer run begins it's short hop to Davidson Yard. Looks like 6947 had some recent plow work.
