BNSF Railway (BNSF) 6312 - Rebuilt EMD SD40u

BNSF 6312 is on Q-110 at Ridgefield Park, NJ 11/21/1999

The BNSF Madison Turn comes through Gratiot Tower on the way back to BNSF Lindenwood Yard with a bunch of old EMDs for power. Today, all of these unit numbers are occupied by orange GEVOs.

These units are getting awfully rare.

Hall and Buchanan Sts.; the train continues north on the TRRA to the Merchants Bridge.

1st and Clinton Sts., heading towards North Market, about to go under the old IT bridge. This train will not branch onto the BNSF Hannibal Sub, instead it will continue on the TRRA north to the Merchants Bridge to the TRRA Madison Yard.

This unit has some "TEST DIRT" on the battery boxes.

This was a nice treat to finish off a long weekend of railfanning.
