This is the last shot I got of the power on BNSF 7269 North, in fact, the leader was my first ES44DC I ever seen in Hinckley, it is one of 4 that I have now seen in Hinckley. This short train had a BNSF GEVO (ES44DC), a Dash 9, a pair of SD60M, a SD40 - 2 Yard Switcher going to Superior to work, and a EMDX GP38 - 2 leading it
With 6 locomotives on the point of this short and overpowered Northbound Freight with over 10,000 HP pulling it. a BNSF GEVO leads a Dash 9, a pair of SD60Ms, a SD40 - 2 Yard Switcher on it's way to Superior for work, and a EMDX GP38 - 2 goes through Hinckley
BNSF 7269 North has a great and colorful consist, BNSF ES44DC #7269 leads BNSF Dash 9 #5463, SD60Ms #8156 and #8109, and SD40 - 2 #1698 and EMDX GP38 - 2 #787 on this short overpowered 39 car freight train
this sounded pretty sweet throttling up as they pull over 6000' of train up to speed on the main.
As you can see the cloud line just wasn't quite where it should have been. these three sounded AWESOME as they throttle up hard for the run out of town with over 6000' of train.
