We finally got our first eastbound, 264 in the typical 1X1 configuration.

NS 7578 and NS 8050 are light engines heading west at CP-Prescott in Avon Heights, Pa 12/1/2025.

NS 9930 is on 22X in South Plainfield, NJ 11/1/2025.

NS 7578 is on 26X in South Plainfield, NJ 12/10/2024. Unfortunately, the low sun cast a harsh reddish orange glow on the locomotives. I tried to correct the color, but it was pretty much impossible so I greyscaled the image.

I belie the frame to the right is destined to be the first SD40-3 rebuild for NS.

NS 7578 sits on the north lead to the Bluffton ethanol plant with 5 more units in a very interesting consist. Believe this was NS 56Xs power a couple days earlier.

With NS 7578 dead at USG, NS 7007 was run around NS 7578 to lead going west. NS 7007 would be spun on the wye at Linden on the Buffalo Line to lead facing forward. This train of empty KGLX hoppers is seen passing Risser Grain.
