This unit was involved in a derailment back in 2018 and has been sitting here since. Since this shot the unit was scrapped onsite.
Waiting till spring to have a switch put in and then taken for repairs.
This guy derailed last fall and has some damage on the engineer's side, good thing it was the DP on a loaded coal train and no one was hurt.
BNSF 9724 sits on a short section of panel track north of the mainline at MP 338 on the Sand Hills Sub. She was placed there following recovery after a derailment. Her other side doesn't look quite as good. Will she run again?

Giving A What's Up Wave
Following a Class 1 overhaul inside the shops building, the BNSF 9647 has been moved outside by the load testers, and has now been there for three days. Its good to see that she's back in one piece, though we'll see how long it stays in these colors.
A BNSF SD70MAC on UP's MKCEW-27.
One of my favorite shooting locations
A little different perspective of the #882 as is rolls into La Crosse.
