NS 7232 is one of the Norfolk Southern SD90Mac rebuilds (Former UP 8002), now classified as a SD70ACU, seen here leading an empty coal train #659. The train is heading west out of town near the WABIC Diamonds with the Staleys/Tate & Lyle plant in the background. This particular coal train services the Northern Indiana Utilities power plants, not sure where they load the trains though (Powder River or a small mine in Illinois). Although NS never owned any of the SD90s, they purchased all they could from Union Pacific for the purpose of rebuilding the big units. NS currently rosters 110 of the SD70ACUs.
