Title: |
NYC 4-8-2 #3114 - New York Central |
Description: |
A plume of smoke rises from this Lima 4-8-2 Mohawk steam locomotive built in December of 1942 as NYC 3114. The distinctive "elephant ear" smoke deflectors give it an air of a Europen styling. The loco only served 12 years before being retired in November of 1954. No location or photographer was listed for the photo and only the date of 1947 was given. |
