One of the few remaining KCS White Scheme Locomotives on the system leads a train that stopped to make a pickup and a setout in the KCS Yard at Jackson. I'd never seen a KCS White Ghost before.

Southbound grain shuttle holding for crew change at CP South Saginaw' BNSF Fort Worth Sub. Believe it or not, this was the first KCS engine that I've spotted or photographed.

It appears that KCS 7002 is in fresh paint. Being an SD50 it maybe an ex-CR unit since the Conrail SD50s have been returned to their lessors when their lease was up.
