Now at Alta Vista the 7319 passes the old Co-op elevator. A much newer elevator out of frame to the right was busy with unloading trucks of grain.
Now about to duck under Sea Street our grain load will soon be passed us and awaiting a meet at the west end of double track at Dwight.
Corn laden GSJOMR-26 rolls up the hill towards Alta Vista. The train is running from St. Joseph, MO to Arizona Grain, AZ.
With a dying thunderstorm in the background, UP 7319 heads a grain train west to Junction City where it will be tied down. I consider the C44/60AC's to have taken place of the SD9043MACs on coal and grain trains, which I was screwed out of before I really started caring about my pictures.
