Unfortunately the fence obscures the view!
I love these SD40s - with their bells up front and that one single light in the rear
This K409 had a neat little surprise - an SD40-2!
heading north on this tuesday after noon all three units are elephant style

Looking at the roofs of both engines and the covered hopper car.
Broadside vie of CP 5937. Track in foreground is a former spur.Paint scheme on this engine is different from that of CP 9737.SD 40-2 is my favorite locomotive.

Tpo View of both locomotives and hopper car. Note Winterization hatch covering the one radiator fan on CP 5937

CP Roadswitcer CP-5937, ICE-6211.
The Humboldt Transfer now goes on duty in Pigs Eye and is seen here coming off the BN and heading into Shoreham.
Well not exactly. LIRR had some work done on several units at Super Steel Schenectady. They were routed home via a roundabout trip through Binghamton. Heres one trailing on 252, about to enter East Binghamton. This is probably one of the more unlikely combinations: SOO and LIRR lashed up.
Train 252 passes under Conklin Av and approaches the north end crossovers.
CP SD40-2s 5960 and 5937 idle on the layoff track in Bethlehem under a snow squal.
Nice Lash-up! Only a decent shot though..

CP train 258 sits tied down at WK just after sunset on a cold evening
CP trackages right train 258 enters the Bethlehem river yard to set out stack cars for NS interchange. The trailing unit is DH 7312, one of three commemorative GP38-2s in DH colors.
259 passes through Coalport, just outside the Glen Onoko access to the Lehigh River Gorge State Park. This view is from the pathway along R&N main into Jim Thorpe.
DH 7312 leads a short 259 north through Bowmanstown on a gorgeous Thankgiving Day.
After working the Bethlehem river yard, CP train 258 turned north, becoming train 259. Therefore, the trailing DH GP38-2 would be leading the northbound train. After stopping in Allentown to pick up bulletins, 259 is seen making track speed through the curve at Mausers Mill in Treichlers.
The daily CP trains now terminate in Bethlehem, no longer making their way into New Jersey. A chilly November afternoon finds an SD40-2 lashup resting in River Yard
Trio of SD40-2's leads a miraculously late edition of D&H 158 west over the ex PRR high line.
