A teeny gap in the action gave me enough time to head up to Fremont Street and grab my first train on the Barstow Sub for the day. An inbound U train was coming and I was curious what it might be. It ended up being another one of those iron ore trains with mostly CN cars, and while I had hoped it was going to head right into the yard, my luck came up short when they stopped short of Fremont Street and tied the train down for a crew change.
