During the Month of June 2014, Norfolk Southern ran a series of Whistle Stop trains to raise public awareness about trespassing and railroad incidents. Within 3 days, Norfolk Southern ran the Keystone Whistle Stop train that traveled through Pennsylvania making stops at a few different places. On June 26, 2014, the Keystone Whistle stop train made stops in Altoona, Johnstown and Latrboe. In Gallitzin, the train had made a short pause so the conductor of the train could make a phone call.
