The entire eastbound stack, all 84 platforms and TOFC of it, rolls toward Belen, its tail end just clearing the westbound signals.
The eastbound stack now building speed, rolls through the eastbound signals at Rio Puerco.
The first eastbound starts up, the interloper UP unit giving up some smoke as it starts to move.
The DPU on the oil train rolls away as the eastbound stack rolls up
As the stack stops to keep clear of the crossing, we see that it doesnt take long for things to back up on the Transcon, as another eastbound appears in the distance.
The eastbound we saw in the distance crawls up to the crossing, as he waits for the signal to clear.
Not an uncommon sight on the Transcon. The westbound stacks containers roll away from us, as the next eastbound comes up at a crawl.
The entire consist of the westbound Chief heads west on the south track, as the eastbound approaches the interlocking.
Going away shot of the Southwest Chiefs last car as it rolls through the point where the north and south tracks split. An eastbound is in the distance.

We went to an escape room later in the day. This one was a Crazy Cat Lady Escape Room where we had to try to navigate the steps in trying to escape an apartment building full of cats. We got 89% of the way done. Might have been easier to get through if Toby would have stopped finding clues before we needed them. Anyways, we then went to McDonalds so I could eat some lunch. The McDonalds in the Dells is pretty neat. It is in a very large log cabin. As soon as we got our food I heard the horn of a westbound train, so I jumped out of the car and raced to the other side of the highway, and caught counterpart coal train CP 812 crossing the Wisconsin River with the highway and the dam up front. Would have bee nice if the street lamps would not have been in the way on the hgihway, but it still made for an interesting shot.
