CP 167 rolls 68 cars past the rock wall in Endwell, the crags highlighted by the covering of snow from a recent small storm.
As NS prepared to single track the Tier, a project that would not come to fruition for another dozen years, it was replacing signals on the line. There were still a few semaphores, though by this time you could count them on the fingers of one hand. Some of the older target signals also got replaced, among them the eastbound signal on track 2, which had originally been about 1/4 mile farther east. It was replaced by this "Darth Vader" type, which was placed across from the target that stayed here in Campville. We see CP 167 rolling past in the snow of a January day.

With a dog catch crew on board, a pair of SD60 family SOO units bring CP Train 170-28 through Birmingham on the CP Kansas City Sub. I'm still trying to catch a SD60M on the point, but it's hard to complain with this view.
